The DEKS Series 1002 SR Stainless Steel Non-Shear Coupler (DX1002-44SR) is designed to create a strong, leak-resistant connection between 4" clay and plastic (PVC) pipe in non-pressure drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Featuring a heavy-duty stainless steel shear ring and four stainless steel gear bands, this shielded transition coupling provides added joint strength, improved pipe alignment, and superior resistance to shear forces in above and below-ground installations.

The flexible neoprene gasket forms a reliable seal while accommodating slight differences in pipe materials and outside diameters.
